Frequently Asked Questions: Proms & Formals
How far in advance should we book a prom limo?
Book by January for an April or May prom. Grand Strand prom dates cluster, which means every school in the area is competing for the same vehicles on the same three or four Saturdays. Groups that book in the spring are choosing from what is left.
What is your policy on alcohol for prom bookings?
Zero tolerance, with no exceptions and no negotiation. Every prom and formal booking runs alcohol-free, the chauffeur enforces it, and the trip ends if it is broken. Parents are welcome to call and hear that directly from us before they book.
Can parents track the vehicle?
Talk to us when you book. We are used to parents wanting a clear picture of the route and the timings, and we would far rather set that up in advance than field calls during the evening. A named contact and an agreed itinerary solves most of it.
Who is the chauffeur?
A background-checked, professionally trained employee, not a contractor booked through a platform. For a prom booking that is the question that matters most, and it is the question the aggregator sites cannot answer about whoever accepts the job.
What size group can we bring?
From a small group in an executive SUV up to thirty in a celebration bus. Larger prom groups are usually better served by one big vehicle than several small ones, because it keeps the group together and gives parents one arrival time rather than five.
